The story of Pennon and Battle was born in an ancient land called Ruachland, where numerous tribes established their own kingdoms on this fertile continent. Here, we introduce one of the heroes from the Pennon and Battle Elven Empire, Lanmain.

Lanmain, an experienced Elf veteran, is a captain in the Empire's Sentinel forces. For many Elves who have served in the Sentinel forces, Lanmain is a common memory. Even seasoned ranger generals may not remember when this veteran became one of them.

To outsiders, Lanmain seems like a very eccentric guy. Despite his excellent martial skills and archery, he never actively shows off, avoids tasks when possible, and has no presence in battles. The only thing that leaves a deep impression is his keen intuition and evasion skills in combat, repeatedly leading his soldiers out of crises. His intuition can foresee enemy movements, allowing his team to always be prepared in advance.

It is precisely this consistent lazy performance that has kept him as a small captain after many years of service, while several of his former subordinates have become ranger generals. However, when he occasionally gets a promotion opportunity due to luck, Lanmain always chooses to refuse, saying, 'I'm not cut out to be an officer!'

For the soldiers who have fought under Lanmain, he is the best superior they could encounter. In daily life, Lanmain treats his Sentinels like juniors, caring for and teaching them. He not only cares about their training and lives but also imparts combat skills and experience. When Sentinels make mistakes, he gives them stern lessons to help them grow. On the battlefield, Lanmain always finds the most low-key and safe way to complete tasks, doing everything possible to preserve the lives of Sentinels and ensure they return home safely. The soldiers hold Lanmain in high regard and gratitude, so many young Elf Sentinels affectionately call him 'Old Man.'

Lanmain is still fighting. He has no illustrious battle achievements but has always silently protected others, embodying the word 'hero' with his actions.
