Aether is the origin of all energy in Ruachland. Driven by Aether, nature evolves, life sprouts, and wisdom condenses into spells.

In Pennon and Battle we designed two factions skilled in Aether—the Elven Empire and the Eternight Council.

In the study of Aether spells, Eternight Council and Elven Empire took different paths: The Council leans towards Aether craftsmanship, wielding alchemical creations in their spells; while the Elves are closer to nature, understanding the essence of Aether more deeply.

When the Elves touched upon the ultimate secrets of Aether, greed and desire birthed a dark entity, an Aether Eclipse. It rose abruptly, devouring thirty of the continent's top Elfspell masters and an entire city, becoming a nexus of negative energy.

Then, this Eclipse silently fell. The eternal darkness was sealed and transformed by the Eternight Council, given form and spirit, becoming the most loyal among the many immortality seekers of the Eternight Council: the Darkness Herald.

In designing the Darkness Herald, the concept of a black hole was key.

This absolute, aggressive darkness endlessly absorbs everything around it, turning it into its own mass. Just like the Eternight Council, which grows by absorbing the strength of other factions in Ruachland.

For such a faction pursuing immortality and darkness, the Darkness Herald is like their ideal of life and spells incarnate.

When he descends upon the battlefield, all life will be devoured by him.

Exclusive Talent: Mana Drain

It allows him to use the source power of the defeated for himself. The more brutal the war, the more infinite the strength of the Darkness Herald.

Additionally, Darkness Herald's initial skills provide strong spell combat power in the early stages:

※Mental Enhancement: Increases hero's Mana limit by 15%.

※Magic Mastery: Increases elemental damage caused by hero's spells by 15%.

In the game, these two skills can be continuously upgraded to further enhance Darkness Herald's spell output capability.

Darkness Herald guides hearts with the Eternight doctrine, imposing the will of darkness across the continent. Although few in Ruachland today know that Darkness Herald was the eclipse that once destroyed everything, the followers of the Council know this eternal lord of darkness will eventually lead the Council to seize the spark of immortality......
