The story of Pennon and Battle is set in the ancient land of Ruachland. Various tribes have established their own kingdoms on this fertile continent. Now, let me introduce you to one of the heroes of the Ancient Swarm faction in Pennon and Battle - Void Argus.

Argus was born in a weak hive and was supposed to become nourishment for the evolution of his kin in the brutal trials. However, with his exceptional intelligence and bravery, he became the leader of the hive's wyrms. His wyrm troops haunted every corner of the battlefield like ghosts, always launching deadly strikes at the most unexpected moments and then quickly disappearing into the chaos of war.

Argus rose to prominence during the queen's reign. With his outstanding tactical command and fearless fighting spirit, he won the queen's favor. He successfully led the entire hive through trials, becoming the queen's kin and was promoted to Reaper, commanding the queen's most elite mobile forces. In the never-ending wars, Argus, with his unique tactics and courage, repeatedly turned the tide of battle, earning the title 'Deadly Argus.'

However, when the queen decided to lead the swarm against the ancient gods, Argus faced unprecedented challenges. Many high-ranking members of the Swarm, controlled by the ancient gods, betrayed the queen, but Argus stood firmly by her side, pursuing and dealing with many traitors. Yet, in direct confrontation with the ancient gods, despite his outstanding performance, Argus's individual efforts could not change the overall course of the war due to the disparity in strength.

In the final battle against the ancient gods, the queen placed high hopes on Argus, expecting him to turn the tide as he had in the past. However, Argus missed the best opportunity to strike in this battle. His inner doubts and hesitation caused him to lose the chance to change the course of the battle, leading to the queen's fall. This blow was immense for Argus, filling his heart with guilt and pain.

The swarm fell into slumber after the queen's fall, until the arrival of a new era. The revived swarm awakened all surviving Reapers and Mind Controllers, but Argus remained dormant. When he was finally awakened, he was no longer the proud and confident deadly Reaper. He took on a new title - Void Argus, perhaps because he had lost interest in the world, or perhaps because he could not let go of the pain and guilt in his heart.

Argus's comrades finally understood: a person who cares about nothing is the most terrifying. Even though Argus changed his title, on the battlefield, as a Reaper, Argus would still launch the most deadly strike at the most unexpected moments.
