The story of Pennon and Battle was born in an ancient land called Ruachland. Various races have established their own nations on this fertile land. Now, let me introduce one of the heroes of the Evernight Council in Pennon and Battle, Nocturne.

Before becoming a key member of the Evernight Council known as 'Nocturne', the mage who studied elven arcane arts was recognized as a genius by the Mage Association. As a member of the Spirit Water Mages, he bravely fought against evil forces, defending the peace and tranquility of the continent. However, fate took a turn during his battle with a demon that destroyed his homeland.

The battle was a nightmare for the spellcaster. The demon's strength was powerful and evil, its whispers like a curse echoing in the spellcaster's mind. The demon told him that even if it was defeated, as long as there was evil will in Ruachland, it would be reborn, and darkness would continue to shroud the land.

The demon's whispers seemed to constantly echo in the mage's ears. To prevent the demon's resurrection, he took the demon's core of source power but inexplicably placed it within himself, refining it into his own source of magic. This act caused the Mage Association to lose a genius mage and the forces of light and justice to lose a loyal follower.

As the core of source power was refined, the mage's body underwent significant changes. His body could transform into a black fluid form, gaining unprecedented power. However, this power did not come from justice and light but from darkness and evil. The mage felt the surging, continuously absorbing magic from others within him. He became addicted, bowing to this immense power. At this moment, he no longer wished to be a warrior of justice but became a fallen mage. Thus, the immortal pursuer known as 'Nocturne' was born.
