Pennon and Battle 0.8.7 Version Update Notice

Dear Lords: 

Pennon and Battle will undergo maintenance at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on March 24th. During this maintenance, there will be an expected downtime of 1 hour. It is recommended that all players log out of the game in advance and log back in after the maintenance is complete.

 

This update brings the following new content

Soldier

1. Implemented all new soldier art assets

 

spell

1. Added the following spells

- Water: [Frost Domain], [Spring Nourishment]

- Fire: [Heartburn Assault], [Fervor]

- Earth: [Earth Spirit Field], [Meteor Strike]

- Wind: [Cyclonic Strike], [Lightning Storm], [Storm Judgment]

- Light: [Light's Banishment], [Eschaton Descent], [Holy Prism]

- Dark: [Mana Conversion], [Poisonous Trap], [Shadow Chains]

- Special: [Domain Resonance], [Seal], [Warp], [Decay Sorcery], [Arcane Outburst], [Time Rift], [Degeneration Spell]

2. When constructing a spell academy in a town, you can set a spell affinity. After setting the affinity, the spell academy will feature more spells of the chosen affinity. Each town can have different affinity settings.

Equipment

1. New equipment added: [Horn of Dominion], [Armlet of Decapitation], [Nether Robe], [Magic Bottle], [Dragon Blood Sword], [Undead Armor]

2. New equipment can be upgraded, granting additional effects upon enhancement.

Hero Battle

1. In [Lobby]-[Hero Battle], you can experience the new Hero Battle gameplay, including [Epic Campaign], [Tournament], and [Training Ground]. Participate in the Epic Campaign to develop your heroes, and save your hero data as Epic Heroes at the end of the campaign. Use Epic Heroes to join the Tournament and Training Ground to engage in Hero Battle with other players.

2. [Arena] has been removed from the Lobby, and the Normal Campaign has deleted the function to save [Epic Heroes]. Old Epic Hero data is no longer compatible and has been cleared.

 

Soldier Equipment

1. New [Soldier Equipment] added to out-of-battle development, equipping it will grant soldiers additional enhancement effects

2. Participate in [Tournament] to obtain soldier equipment

Hotseat Mode

1. Added [Hotseat Mode], accessible via [Lobby] - [Online Campaign]

2. This mode allows multiple players to play together on a single device, taking turns, supporting up to 8 players.

Challenge Campaign

1. Added [Archipelago Sea] campaign, where islands are scattered across the vast sea. Sail to explore unknown waters, conquer each island, and raise your flag.

2. A new limited-time challenge event will start on March 20th at 18:00 (Pacific Time).

3. Added challenge contracts [True Vision], [Fight to the death].

Hero trial

1. The [Hero trial] feature will be unlocked when the player reaches level 15.

2. When the hero's development progress is ≥70%, they can participate in the Hero trial and earn more talent points upon completion.

3. Currently, only trials for some heroes are available, and trials for other heroes will be unlocked in future updates.

In addition to new content, this update also includes adjustments and optimizations to the following aspects, and fixes some game issues.

 

Balance adjustments

1. Reduced health and damage growth when heroes level up

2. Reduced damage of some spells

3. Damage in [Invisible] state adjusted from 3x to 2x

4. [Dispel the Mist] adjusted to a maximum of 2 uses per day

5. The cost of recruiting heroes in towns with Golden Coins will increase with hero level

 

Other optimizations

1. In battles occurring at passes, the defending side will have walls and arrow towers. Upgrading the pass can increase the number of arrow towers.

2. [Wonder] buildings no longer affect the town's Construct status. After constructing a [Wonder] building, a new marker will be displayed additionally.

3. When [Event Card] reaches level 3, you can choose a level 2 event card as material.

4. The damage preview window in battles will be hidden during actions.

5. Optimized the island map’s generation rules.

6. Continue to optimize and improve the display and interaction operations of the interface.
