The story of Pennon and Battle was born in an ancient land called Ruachland, where numerous tribes established their own kingdoms on this fertile continent. Here, we introduce one of the heroes from the Pennon and Battle Elven Empire, Serlin.

Serlin is a legendary hero of the Elven Empire, renowned throughout Ruachland for his extraordinary archery skills. His enemies call him the 'Reaper of the Woods.' Serlin was born into nobility; his father was the Elf prince who ruled the Moonlit Forest. As the eldest son, his destiny should have been to learn the noble traditions and political knowledge passed down through the empire for millennia, waiting to inherit his father's position. But young Serlin was obsessed with archery and held power and politics in contempt. He left home after leaving a letter to his father, joined the Sentinel forces under an alias, and within a few years became an experienced Ranger commander, setting a record for the fastest troop promotion in the empire in recent decades. However, all Elves familiar with Serlin unanimously believed that if he didn't rely too much on his superb archery skills to fight alone in battles, he could have become a Ranger General long ago.

Serlin's rise to fame occurred during the Barbarian Tribes' invasion of the Moonlit Forest. Learning that his homeland was in danger, he took on the responsibility of defending the Moonlit Forest. In the forest where he grew up, Serlin showcased his archery skills to the fullest, single-handedly sniping seventeen Tribe leaders. The lower-ranking officers and ordinary soldiers who died at his hands were countless. Despite doing everything one person could, he couldn't save his father—the prince was surrounded and killed by superior enemy forces while leading troops to cover the civilians' retreat.

After the Barbarian Troops plundered most of the Moonlit Forest, Serlin revealed his identity and succeeded his father's position. He returned to his troops, and due to his noble status and glorious achievements, Serlin eventually won the support of all the military and civilians. Having experienced the pain of losing his father, Serlin seemed to finally understand that one person's strength has its limits. He began to study military strategy earnestly but did not give up his pursuit of archery. This dual focus did not slow his growth; instead, it made him stronger and more formidable. Ultimately, he led his troops to defeat the Orc coalition and reclaim the lost territory, restoring peace and tranquility to the Moonlit Forest.
