The story of Pennon and Battle was born in an ancient land called Ruachland, where numerous tribes established their own kingdoms on this fertile continent. Here, we introduce one of the heroes from the Pennon and Battle Elven Empire, Jalanil.

Elves have a glorious history, relying on long-inherited swordsmanship and spell strength, and generally hold a prejudice against emerging engineering machinery. However, Jalanil is different from her proud compatriots. As a seasoned ranger with extensive battle experience, she has witnessed the excellent performance of the enemy's military machines in battles against the Sacred Oath Alliance and recognized the importance of military machines in warfare. Determined to revive her empire with engineering, Jalanil learned the enemy's knowledge, traveled to the Sacred Oath Alliance in disguise, collected engineering books, and studied them diligently, eventually becoming a rare engineering expert in the Elven Empire.

The Elf prince to whom Jalanil is loyal neither pursued her previous unauthorized departure to the enemy country nor appreciated her achievements. Returning with great ambitions, Jalanil felt disappointed and had to gather her old subordinates to return to the front lines. In the army, Jalanil vigorously promoted various mechanical devices. Although the soldiers were initially reluctant, these 'disgusting gadgets' shone in actual combat, quickly changing their views.

Due to Jalanil's outstanding achievements, other Elf commanders gradually began to value the application of military machinery. However, out of consideration for the dignity of the Elf race, Jalanil, who first introduced this change, did not receive any awards or promotions. But for Jalanil, she had already achieved her goal.

Pennon and Battle is a turn-based strategy simulation war game. As a lord, you will take on the responsibility of reviving the kingdom!
